1)Food Preparation:
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and food items as per recipes and instructions provided by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Cut, slice, chop, and dice ingredients as required.
Measure and portion ingredients accurately.
2) Cooking Assistance:
Assist chefs in cooking and assembling dishes.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and microwaves under supervision.
Monitor food cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
3) Organization and Stock Management:
Assist in inventory management by stocking and restocking ingredients and supplies.
Keep track of inventory levels and inform the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager when supplies need to be replenished.
Maintain a well-organized and tidy kitchen workspace to facilitate efficient workflow.
