Junior Engineer Civil (2-4 Years)

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision: Monitor daily construction activities on-site to ensure work is executed strictly according to structural drawings, architectural plans, and approved specifications.

Labor & Contractor Management: Supervise site supervisors, skilled labor, and sub-contractors, assigning daily targets and tracking progress.

Material Quality Control: Inspect incoming construction materials (cement, steel, aggregate, etc.) to ensure they meet quality standards and handle the systematic logging of material consumption.

Measurement & Billing: Take accurate site measurements, maintain the Measurement Book (MB), verify contractor bills against actual work completed, and report discrepancies.

Daily Progress Reporting (DPR): Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to the Senior Project Engineer, highlighting any delays or resource shortages.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict workplace safety protocols (use of helmets, safety harnesses, PPE kits) on-site and maintain clean, organized working conditions.

Surveying & Layout: Assist in setting out layouts, alignment, and leveling using total stations, auto-levels, and other surveying instruments when required.
