we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic hr it recruiter with 0-1 year of experience to join our team in chennai. as an it recruiter, you will play a key role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring the best talent for our clients in the it industry.
key responsibilities:
1. talent sourcing:
- utilize job portals, social media, databases, and other platforms to source potential it candidates.
- network with professionals to build a robust talent pipeline.
2. screening & shortlisting:
- conduct initial screenings to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and compatibility with job requirements.
- coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
3. candidate engagement:
- build and maintain positive relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- provide timely updates and feedback to candidates.
4. job postings & descriptions:
- create engaging job descriptions tailored to each role.
- post job advertisements on various platforms to attract qualified candidates.
5. client coordination:
- understand client requirements and deliver quality profiles within specified timelines.
- act as a point of contact between clients and candidates.
6. reporting & documentation:
- maintain accurate records of candidate details and recruitment activities.
- prepare reports and updates for team leads and clients.
skills & competencies required:
- basic understanding of it roles and technologies.
- strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- proficiency in using recruitment tools and platforms like naukri, linkedin, etc.
- high level of organization and attention to detail.
preferred qualifications:
- previous internship or experience in recruitment is a plus but not mandatory.
- knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ats) is an added advantage.
