we are seeking a dedicated and organised logistics coordinator to join our team. this individual will play a key role in managing the efficient movement of goods across our supply chain, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effective operations, and the coordination of transportation, inventory, and documentation. the logistics coordinator will work closely with our clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure a seamless flow of operations.

key responsibilities:

shipment coordination: organize and schedule shipments, ensuring they meet deadlines and customer requirements. monitor all shipments and keep stakeholders informed on their progress.

transportation management: coordinate with third-party carriers to arrange transportation for goods and materials. ensure proper routing and optimize shipping schedules for cost efficiency.

inventory management: track and maintain inventory levels to ensure availability of products while minimizing excess stock. update inventory systems to reflect real-time stock levels.

documentation & compliance: prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations. ensure compliance with . regulations and international trade laws.

problem-solving: address issues related to shipments, including delays, damages, or discrepancies. resolve these issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

customer service: communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment status, address concerns, and resolve any issues related

to logistics and deliveries.

data entry & reporting: maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and any issues or delays. prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance to management.

qualifications:

education: high school diploma or equivalent required and bachelors degree

experience: 6 months to 1 year

skills:

strong communication and interpersonal skills.

excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

proficiency with logistics software
