As a Food & Beverage Trainer, your main focus will be to enhance the knowledge and skills of staff in the food and beverage sector. You will play a vital role in ensuring high standards of service and product knowledge within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver engaging training programs on food and beverage service techniques, menu knowledge, and customer service excellence to ensure staff are well-prepared.
- Develop Training Materials: Create and update training manuals, guides, and resources to provide clear information and support to the staff during their learning journey.
- Assess Staff Performance: Regularly evaluate staff performance through observations and feedback to identify areas for improvement and recommend additional training as needed.
- Organize Workshops: Plan and facilitate workshops that focus on specific skills or knowledge areas, such as wine pairing or food safety practices, to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the food and beverage industry to ensure training content is relevant and beneficial.
Required Skills and Expectations:
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 to 8 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a training capacity. A minimum of a 12th-grade education is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively conveying information and engaging with staff. You should have a strong understanding of food and beverage operations and outstanding organizational abilities to manage training schedules efficiently.
