Finance & Accounts Head

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Key Accountabilities

· To ensure that finance department functions effectively and smoothly to provide high quality services to Masoom

· To develop appropriate financial systems and implement them effectively

· To ensure that budgets and financial reports as necessary are prepared and submitted on time.

· Manage day to day accounting of grants, donations, disbursements and payments.

· Cash management and investment planning to ensure a balance between liquidity and investment income.

· Timely payment of staff remuneration, related TDS and filing of relevant statutory returns.

· Keeping the Financial Policy manual up-to-date in accordance with organisational process and audit requirements.

· Basic legal matters relating to the organisation like preparing agreements, Registrar of companys requirements etc.

· Manage the organizations investments and corpus funds

Budgets, Financial Reports and Audits

· To ensure that financial audit is carried out as per need in a timely fashion

· Understanding the financial needs of the Organization and working with the management team to draw a realistic budget

· Create cash flow and financial statement periodically for management understanding

· Create Variance analysis report on periodical basis and update CEO on the variance periodically

Finance and Accounts Functions
