Job Description for Sponsorship sales team
Responsible for selling high value event sponsorship packages to key solutions providers within a particular industry
Needs to use sales techniques to make clients aware of commercial advantages of sponsoring an event
Good negotiation & listening skills are required
Need the ability to match sponsorship packages to the needs of a client with the aim of closing business
Proactive selling on phone & also face to face
Need to provide high business sales to high level executives from leading companies
Responsible for nurturing clients, upselling them to increase spend, managing the relationship & ensuring repeat business
Identifying key solution providers
Travel globally in order to network with sponsors & maintain sponsors relationships onsite
