about the role
we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales executive with 4–5 years of proven experience in the building materials industry. the ideal candidate will have a strong network of contractors, architects, and channel partners, and a deep understanding of the construction ecosystem. this role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
key responsibilities
• develop and manage b2b and b2c sales channels across assigned territories
• build strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and distributors
• identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients
• conduct product presentations, site visits, and technical discussions
• achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and report performance metrics
• monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine sales strategies
• coordinate with internal teams (logistics, marketing, finance) for seamless order execution
• ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables
key requirements
• 4–5 years of sales experience in the building materials industry (., cement, tiles, paints, adhesives, sanitaryware, etc.)
• strong network in the construction and real estate sector
• excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• self-motivated with a target-driven approach
• proficiency in crm tools and ms office
• bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, civil engineering, or related field
