finding clients: soliciting potential clients to buy, sell, or rent properties

advising clients: providing information about prices, mortgages, market conditions, and legal requirements

comparing properties: determining a competitive market price by comparing properties to similar ones that have recently sold

promoting properties: advertising properties through open houses, listing services, and other means

showing properties: accompanying clients to properties to inspect and discuss them

negotiating: presenting purchase offers to sellers and negotiating prices or other sales terms

coordinating closings: overseeing the signing of documents and disbursement of fund
