An F&B (Food & Beverage) Captain is a supervisory role in restaurants, hotels, or cafes responsible for leading service staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and managing daily floor operations. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Guest Experience & Service: Greeting guests, taking orders, providing menu recommendations, and handling complaints professionally.
Operational Supervision: Managing, training, and mentoring service staff (stewards/waiters).
Coordination: Ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen, bar, and service team.
Standards & Compliance: Maintaining hygiene, safety, and service standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Administrative Tasks: Organizing duty rosters, managing inventory, and assisting with billing.
Key Skills Required:
