Looking For Estimation Engineer

As an Estimation Engineer in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring that they align with the project's requirements and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare Cost Estimates: Calculate the cost of materials, labor, and other resources needed for projects based on detailed specifications.

- Analyze Project Specifications: Review and interpret project plans and specifications to identify requirements and constraints affecting the estimates.

- Collaboration with Teams: Work with project managers and engineers to gather project information and resolve any discrepancies in the estimates.

- Maintain Database of Rates: Create and update a database of material and labor costs to ensure that estimates are based on current market rates.

- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in the project scope that may affect costs and propose strategies to mitigate those risks.

- Report Generation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations of estimates to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.

Required Skills and Expectations:

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in estimation or related roles is essential. Strong analytical skills are required to assess project specifications accurately. Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Excel is expected. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills to interact with various teams and present estimates clearly. Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines are crucial for success in this role. Familiarity with project management principles is an added advantage.
