Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 5+ Years in Industrial Automation, PLC & Electrical Systems (No Freshers)
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be the primary technical authority for all electrical systems, automation infrastructure, and PLC operations within the plant. You will drive reliability, safety, and efficiency across all electrical assets while supporting production continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all plant electrical systems including LT panels, MCC, power distribution, and earthing
Diagnose and rectify electrical breakdowns promptly to ensure minimal production downtime
Maintain and service motors, control panels, contactors, sensors, relays, and field instruments
Monitor, maintain, and update PLC programs and SCADA/HMI configurations as needed
Develop, implement, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all electrical assets
Ensure full compliance with electrical safety standards, IS codes, and factory regulations
Evaluate new automation technologies and propose system upgrades to improve plant efficiency
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including single-line diagrams, PM logs, and inspection reports
Train and guide electrical technicians and helpers in safe work practices and equipment handling
