A Solar Project Electrical Engineer designs, installs, and commissions solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, overseeing the full project lifecycle from design to site implementation. Key responsibilities include creating electrical schematics (single-line diagrams), performing site assessments, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with contractors for utility-scale PV projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Engineering: Create electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), site layouts, and technical specifications for PV systems, including inverters, transformers, and HT/LT panels.

Project Management & Installation: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar plants to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Site Assessment: Conduct site visits to assess electrical infrastructure needs, identify rehabilitation requirements, and verify compliance with standards.

Quality & Safety Assurance: Inspect cabling, SCADA, and PV electrical systems to ensure compliance with local/international electrical safety regulations.

Coordination: Act as the technical point of contact between, engineering teams, contractors, and government authorities to ensure, and verify the quality of components.
