support engineer will be responsible to monitor and maintain the surveillance
systems of the customer organization. he/she will install and configure surveillance systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical problems, either over the phone, remotely or face-to-face.
•install and configure surveillance cameras, video management software(vms), networking systems, storage etc,…;
•monitor and maintain surveillance systems and networks;
•set up users in vms, nvr etc;
• set up user profiles and privileges;
• troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve
hardware/software faults;
•replace parts as required;
•provide support, including procedural, documentation;
•follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a
system;
•run available surveillance applications to support systems and users;
•to raise a support ticket with partner oem’s;
•respond within agreed time limits to call-outs;
•work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties,
if appropriate);
•prioritize and manage several open cases at one time;
• rapidly establish a good working relationship with other professionals in
order to make necessary repairs;
• test and evaluate new technology.
