We are seeking a Indian curries is a senior-level junior chef role responsible for the daily preparation of gravies, curries, and specialized Indian dishes in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen. This role requires 1-4 years of experience and involves acting as a key support to the Chef de Partie.
Key Responsibilities
• Curry Preparation: Preparing, seasoning, and cooking a wide range of Indian curries, gravies (., makhani, kadhai, korma), and rice dishes according to standard recipes.
• Mise-en-place: Preparing ingredients for the station, including chopping, peeling, marinating, and grinding fresh spices.
• Station Management: Ensuring the curry station is organized, clean, and fully operational before and during service.
• Quality & Standards: Ensuring consistent food quality, taste, and presentation, adhering to restaurant standards and FSSAI/HACCP hygiene regulations.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels of ingredients, checking inventory, and informing the CDP of low supplies.
• Support & Supervision: Assisting senior chefs (CDP/Sous Chef) and supervising Commis 2 and 3 chefs.
