A Commercial Assistant provides crucial administrative, financial, and operational support to a company's commercial or sales team, handling tasks like managing data entry, processing invoices, coordinating projects, liaising with clients, preparing reports (MIS), and assisting with tenders, contracts, and budgeting to ensure smooth business operations and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support: Data entry, document management (contracts, agreements, reports), schedule management, meeting logistics.
Financial/Commercial Tasks: Invoice processing, costing, budget tracking, financial reporting, managing work-in-progress (WIP), and supporting tender/bid processes.
Client & Team Liaison: Communicating with clients, sales teams, project managers, and suppliers; resolving issues; coordinating deliveries; gathering data for projects.
Sales & Marketing Support: Assisting with pricing, promotional activities, market research, and competitor analysis.
Data & Reporting: Preparing and analyzing performance reports (MIS), managing databases, and ensuring data accuracy.
