Job description:

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

Prepare structural designs for offshore and onshore facilities.

Develop layouts, drawings, and specifications for civil works.

Project Execution

Supervise construction activities at project sites (pipelines, platforms, buildings).

Ensure compliance with ONGCs safety and quality standards.

Structural Analysis

Perform load calculations and stability checks for offshore platforms.

Use engineering software for modeling and simulation.

Coordination

Work with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, petroleum engineers).

Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.

Compliance

Adhere to environmental and regulatory norms.

Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: ./ in Civil Engineering ( preferred for structural roles).

Experience: - year

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and other civil design tools.

Familiarity with offshore construction standards (API, IS codes).

Soft Skills:

Strong project management and communication abilities.

Ability to work in remote and challenging environments.

Typical Work Environment

Location: Gujarat (Ankleshwar, Ahmedabad, offshore sites).

Nature of Work: Combination of office-based design and field/site supervision.

Working in offshore environments can be physically demanding.

Strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.

Projects often involve tight deadlines and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
