Job Description Block Coordinator| TB Mukt Janjati Abhiyan

•Get trained in SOPs & Protocol of Community-based screening of tribal population in India under NTEP and under this project

•Seek the baseline data within 2 weeks of joining as per monitoring indicators reporting under the project

•Assist District Program Manager in planning for overall operations including staff travel, sample and other inventory transportation, (local) stay, renting facility, disinfection and waste disposal arrangements

•Lead the planning of the field with supervision of multiple field teams operating within the assigned block geography (including inventory, supplies, camp site expenditures, methods adopted)

•Ensure daily screening camps are planned in advance and conducted as per implementation plans in coordination with local health facilities, block medical officer, NTEP staff under the guidance of the District project manager

•Monitor field team performance, attendance and operational challenges including field testing, feedback and capacity building of teams for digital data management and differentiated TB care clinical monitoring kits

•Coordinate with block‑level health authorities and TB program officials to ensure that all diagnosed TB patients are initiated on treatment and contacts are evaluated and TPT initiated

•Review screening and diagnostic data to ensure quality and completeness and facilitate data quality assurance exercises

•Provide troubleshooting support and ensure timely reporting to district teams. Qualifications / Experience

Qualification and experience requirements will vary by state hiring norms but should align with relevant public health, clinical or community health backgrounds. Indicative payout ranges should follow market benchmarks for public health programs operating in remote geographies.

Qualifications: Postgraduate in Public Health / Social Work / Management preferred.

Experience: 5-7 years managing field health programs.
