key responsibilities:
prepare, bake, and decorate bakery items including breads, pastries, cookies, and cakes.
follow recipes while also bringing creativity to develop new products.
maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
monitor stock levels of baking ingredients and place orders when necessary.
ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
supervise and guide junior staff (commis i, ii, iii).
meet production deadlines for daily orders, events, and special occasions.
skills & requirements:
proven experience as a bakery chef / pastry chef.
knowledge of modern and traditional baking techniques.
creativity in designing new products.
ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
team leadership and training abilities.
qualifications:
diploma/certification in bakery & confectionery (preferred).
25 years of professional bakery experience.
