the service head will be responsible for overseeing the entire service operations of the automobile division. the role includes ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining service

quality standards, driving profitability, managing a large technical team, and coordinating closely with oems (maruti suzuki) to achieve business goals.

key responsibilities:

● lead, manage, and supervise the overall service department operations.

● ensure timely and efficient service delivery to achieve customer satisfaction.

● plan and implement strategies to improve workshop productivity and profitability.

● monitor warranty claims, goodwill, and service-related documentation as per oem standards.

● manage and train service advisors, technicians, and support staff.

● ensure compliance with company and oem (maruti suzuki) policies, procedures, and quality standards.

● analyze service performance metrics and take corrective actions to improve kpis.

● maintain strong coordination with spare parts, body shop, and sales departments.

● handle escalated customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.

● prepare regular reports and budgets for management review.

required skills and qualifications:

● bachelor’s degree/diploma in automobile or mechanical engineering.

● 10–15 years of experience in automobile service operations (maruti suzuki experience preferred).

● strong technical knowledge of vehicles, diagnostics, and service processes.

● excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills.

● proficiency in ms office and dms (dealer management systems).

preferred candidate profile:

● candidates from maruti suzuki dealership background will be given preference.

● proven track record in managing large service teams and achieving performance

targets.

● strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
