*Trainee Application Engineer*:

The individual in this position will utilize technical knowledge to prepare quotation packages. based on the product content and may perform Bill of Material preparation for some large, complex projects with guidance of a Senior or Staff Quotation Specialist. Must possess the ability to interpret customer requirements, match products to customer specifications/drawings and ensures that the quote is technically compatible and competitive by communicating with the Sales Engineer to determine/clarify project requirements. Understands, analysis, documents and communicates contractual, technical and commercial terms and has a understanding of bid strategies.

This individual will hand-off a quotation package with comments on exceptions and built in value for use by the Sales Engineer in customer presentations and has an understanding of the Sales Engineers strategy for the quotation opportunity to ensure quality output. Involved in order hand off process as needed to ensure proper order conversion. Embraces and fully utilizes new tools and technology to improve efficiency,

Knowledge of:

MS Office, in good in Excel.

Trainee Application Engineer will be given training in making proposals and adequate Product Knowledge.
