An Air Ticketing Executive is responsible for booking airline tickets, managing reservations, issuing boarding passes, handling travel queries, and assisting passengers with ticket changes or cancellations. They ensure accurate ticketing, maintain travel records, and provide excellent customer service to travelers.
3. Key Responsibilities
Ticket Booking & Reservations
Book domestic and international flight tickets for customers.
Use airline reservation systems such as GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre).
Provide information about flight schedules, fares, and availability.
Customer Assistance
Assist customers with ticket bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling.
Handle passenger inquiries through phone, email, or in person.
Guide customers about airline policies, baggage rules, and travel requirements.
Ticket Issuance
Issue e-tickets and boarding passes.
Verify passenger information and travel documents.
Process ticket refunds and exchanges when required.
Fare Calculation
Calculate ticket fares, taxes, and additional charges.
Provide the best available fare options to customers.
Documentation
Maintain records of bookings and payments.
Update passenger details in reservation systems.
Coordination
Coordinate with airlines, travel agents, and airport staff.
Assist with group bookings and corporate travel arrangements.

5. Educational Qualification
Minimum 12th pass or graduate
