Passenger Service Associate (PSA) Airport Ground Operations

About the Role

The Passenger Service Associate (PSA) is the first point of contact between the airline and passengers at the airport. The primary objective of this role is to ensure a safe, smooth, and comfortable airport experience for passengers, from check-in through boarding.

This position is ideal for individuals with a professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a desire to build a career in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist passengers at the airport terminal during check-in, boarding, and arrival processes

Verify passenger documents, including identification, tickets, and baggage compliance

Support boarding gate operations and assist with announcements and coordination

Provide assistance to special passengers, including senior citizens, children, and wheelchair users

Strictly adhere to airline and airport Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Handle passenger queries and basic concerns in a calm and professional manner

Maintain safety, discipline, and professional conduct at all times

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification: 10+2 (any stream)

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years

Languages: Basic communication skills in Hindi and English

Personality Traits: Well-groomed, polite, confident, and customer-focused

Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit for airport ground operations

Aviation certification is preferred. Candidates trained through approved aviation training programs are also acceptable as per guidelines.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Salary: 28,000 38,600 (depending on airport and assigned role)
