Job Description

- responsible for assisting passengers during check-in and boarding processes: the ground staff will help passengers check-in, provide boarding passes, and assist them with any queries they may have.

- ensure smooth and efficient flow of passengers through the airport: the ground staff will work to maintain a systematic flow of passengers to ensure timely and organized boarding and deplaning.

- handle baggage and cargo: the ground staff will assist in handling baggage and cargo, ensuring they are safely loaded onto the aircraft and unloaded upon arrival.

- provide excellent customer service: the ground staff will be responsible for ensuring passengers have a pleasant experience at the airport by addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.

- communicate effectively with passengers and airline staff: the ground staff must have strong communication skills to convey important information to passengers and collaborate with airline personnel to ensure smooth operations.

About Air India Airlines

Founded in 1932 as Tata Airlines by J. R. D. Tata, Tata himself flew its first single-engine de Havilland Puss Moth, carrying air mail from Karachi to Bombay's Juhu aerodrome and later continuing to Madras (currently Chennai). After World War II, it was nationalised by the Government of India in 1953 and was renamed Air India.[4] On 21 February 1960, it took delivery of its first Boeing 707 named Gauri Shankar and became the first Asian airline to induct a jet aircraft in its fleet. In 200001, attempts were made to privatise Air India and from 2006 onwards, it suffered losses after its merger with Indian Airlines. Another privatization attempt was launched in 2017, which concluded with ownership of the airline and associated properties return to the Tata Group after 69 years in 2022.
