Job Description Agency Channel Partner

Hiring Location: Kolkata Head Office

Department: Agency / Business Development

Reporting to: Cluster Head / Agency Manager

Role Summary

The Agency Channel Partner will be responsible for building, managing, and expanding the agency sales force for

Kotak Life Insurance. The role focuses on recruitment, structured training of new hires, team building, and driving

sustainable business growth through the agency channel.

Key Responsibilities

Source, screen, and onboard sales professionals to strengthen the distribution network and support business

growth.

Develop and scale a high-performing sales team to achieve assigned business targets.

Provide structured training, coaching, and mentoring on products, sales processes, and regulatory compliance.

Conduct regular team meetings, refresher trainings, and performance review sessions.

Drive business development through agency channel sales initiatives and market outreach activities.

Foster a performance-driven culture through incentives, recognition programs, and continuous motivation.

Ensure strict adherence to company policies and IRDAI regulatory guidelines.

Monitor recruitment pipelines, team productivity, and overall business performance metrics.

Eligibility & Experience

Graduation in any discipline (mandatory)

Candidates without prior life insurance experience will be considered as Freshers

Strong interest in recruitment, sales, and team leadership roles

English and Hindi speaking proficiency is mandatory

IRDAI Certification & Training

IRDAI certification is mandatory before commencement of the probationary training period

Candidates who do not hold a valid IRDAI certification will be guided to apply through official company portals

Upon successful certification, candidates will proceed to the probationary training phase

Probation & Stipend

During the probationary training period, candidates will be eligible for a stipend linked to business development

performance and achievement of defined milestones.
