Controlling chart of accounts & overseeing accounts function including
approval of all vouchers, receipts & payments, supervising daily work by team,
reviewing reconciliations (bank, cash, receivables, payables) & ensuring
statutory compliances (TDS, Income Tax & VAT).
Approving all adjustments to accounts, preparing monthly & annual accounts
& providing data for monthly MIS.
Facilitating statutory audit of accounts & quarterly internal audits. Maintaining
security and confidentiality of organisations financial information.
Establishing formal mechanisms for obtaining feedback from Accounts team.
Managing department personnel (determining manpower requirements,
establishing hierarchy and reporting relationships between personnel, team
training, development & appraisal).
