Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team. He/She will be responsible for overseeing daily financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records by tracking, verifying, and reconciling transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and balance sheets, providing insights to management on financial performance and trends.

Budget Management: Assist with budgeting and forecasting by analyzing financial data and providing support in budget development and monitoring.

Audit and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Support internal and external audit activities as needed.

Tax Preparation and Filing: Prepare and file tax documents in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and keep updated on changes in tax laws.

Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoicing, vendor payments, and customer payments, ensuring timely processing and collections.

Cost Control: Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures when applicable.

Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in financial processes.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
