Key Responsibilities:

- Record daily purchase, sales and other transactions accurately in Tally

- Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices and supporting documents.

- Manage accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

- Prepare bank, supplier, customer and ledger reconciliations.

- Handle GST work: calculations, reconciliations, return preparation and timely filing.

- Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices and expense bills against supporting documents.

- Maintain records of cash transactions, petty cash and business expenses.

- Conduct monthly and annual internal audits and support statutory audits when required.

- Identify discrepancies and work with the relevant departments to resolve them.

- Prepare monthly accounting reports for management.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting.

- Hands-on experience with Tally.

- Good knowledge of GST, GST returns and reconciliations.

- Working knowledge of MS Excel for reconciliations and reports.

- Sound understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

- Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to keep financial information confidential.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Languages:

Telugu: Mandatory

English: Good spoken and written communication

Hindi: Preferred

Preferred Candidates: Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food products, sweets, namkeen or beverage companies will be an advantage.
