Academic Counsellor - Full Time

We are seeking an Academic Counsellor to support students in their educational journey. This role requires someone who can guide students in making informed decisions about their academic paths and career choices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Guidance: Provide one-on-one consultations with students to understand their needs and aspirations. This involves assessing their academic performance and interests to recommend suitable courses or programs.

2. Career Counseling: Assist students in exploring career options based on their skills and qualifications. Help them set realistic goals and develop a plan to achieve them.

3. Workshops and Seminars: Organize and conduct workshops on study skills, time management, and career planning. These sessions aim to equip students with essential tools to succeed academically and professionally.

4. Collaboration with Faculty: Work closely with teachers and faculty members to ensure students receive holistic support. Share insights about students' academic challenges and successes.

5. Follow-Up and Support: Maintain regular follow-ups with students to monitor their progress and provide ongoing support as needed.

Required Skills and Expectations:

Candidates should have a graduate degree and 2 to 5 years of experience in academic counseling or relevant fields. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to establish rapport with students and their families. A strong understanding of educational systems and career opportunities will help in advising students effectively. Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks are also crucial for success in this role.
