As a Quality Chemist, your primary focus will be to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards before they are released for distribution. Your responsibilities will include:- **Conducting Quality Tests**: Perform various chemical tests on raw materials and finished products to guarantee compliance with specifications and regulations.- **Analyzing Results**: Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports that summarize findings, including any deviations from expected quality standards.- **Maintaining Laboratory Equipment**: Ensure that all laboratory equipment is functioning properly and is calibrated regularly for accurate results.- **Documentation and Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of tests performed, results obtained, and any corrective actions taken to ensure traceability and compliance.- **Collaboration with Other Teams**: Work closely with production and safety teams to address any quality issues and to suggest improvements to processes and products.To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:- A Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related field is required, providing a strong foundation in chemical principles and laboratory practices.- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to effectively assess product quality and identify issues.- Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing good communication skills to convey important findings and collaborate with colleagues.- A proactive attitude towards learning and adhering to quality standards in a fast-paced work environment.
