We are a small Hyderabad-based structural-engineering team looking for a contract AutoCAD Draftsperson to work exclusively online from home. The candidate should have a high-spec laptop or desktop and have fast, reliable broadband. The role involves preparing 2D structural-steel drawings for coordination (not fabrication).Please note clearly that this job is completely on contract base and will depend on the quality of work, productivity and loyalty of candidate.________________________________________Key Duties Produce clear steelwork drawings showing beam and plate sizes, bolt schedules, welds, and connection layouts. Translate engineers notes into accurate drafts and revise promptly after review. Coordinate with the project lead to track progress and resolve technical queries.Essential Requirements Experience: 3 + years in structural-steel drafting. Software: Expert AutoCAD skills; proficient in Excel and Word. Equipment: Own high-configuration computer and broadband connection. Technical: Sound knowledge of steel components, connections, and drafting conventions. Soft skills: Fluent English, attention to detail, and reliable deadline management. Compliance: Maintain confidentiality and give two months notice before departure.Desirable Extras Familiarity with UK / BS EN steel codes. Prior freelance or remote-contract experience. Structural or civil-engineering background.Engagement & Payment Projects issued individually; scope, fee, and timeline agreed in advance.
