Incumbent should have experience in bulk CNG distribution 1. Understanding of end to end business requirements2. Ability to customise facilities based on customer needs3. Strong understanding of cost elements4. For CNG business those with experience in setting up CNG filling stations and operations therein will be preferred5. Persons with experience with fitment of CNG kits in vehicles are also desired6. Ability to analyse and study market data and make proposals therein7. Good team working and communication skills8. Must have an engineering degree preferably with an MBA

The Unit Head for the Rolled Steel Bars Manufacturing Plant is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the plant, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality rolled steel bars while meeting safety, quality, and production targets. This position combines technical expertise, leadership, and strategic management to drive the unit's success.Key Responsibilities:Production Management:Supervise and coordinate all manufacturing activities in the rolled steel bars plant.Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and meeting production targets.Monitor production processes to maintain product quality and consistency.Identify and address operational bottlenecks and process improvements.Quality Assurance:Ensure that the production process adheres to quality standards and specifications.Implement quality control measures to minimize defects and deviations.Initiate corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.Safety and Compliance:Promote a culture of safety, ensuring that all safety regulations and standards are adhered to.Conduct safety training, risk assessments, and incident investigations.Oversee compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.Resource Management:Manage and allocate human and material resources effectively to optimize production efficiency.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of raw materials.Budget and cost control to meet financial targets.Equipment and Maintenance:Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of plant equipment and machinery.Schedule and oversee maintenance activities, minimizing downtime.Coordinate with the maintenance team for equipment repairs and upgrades.Team Leadership:Build and lead a high-performing team by setting expectations, providing direction, and mentoring team members.
