1. Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating units, Chiller Units, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment. This involves following blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer instructions to ensure proper installation and functioning.2. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify and resolve issues with HVAC systems, such as malfunctioning thermostats, faulty wiring, refrigerant leaks, or motor failures. Use diagnostic tools and techniques to determine the root cause of problems and implement appropriate solutions.3. System Testing and Inspections: Conduct system tests and inspections to assess the performance, efficiency, and safety of HVAC systems. This may involve measuring airflow, temperature differentials, and refrigerant levels, as well as checking electrical connections and components for proper functioning.4. Repair and Replacement: Replace or repair faulty components, such as compressors, motors, fans, belts, valves, or sensors. Ensure that all replacements or repairs adhere to safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications.5. Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, inspecting and replacing filters, checking electrical connections, and testing system performance. Regular preventive maintenance helps to prevent breakdowns, optimize system efficiency, and prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
