Job Description (JD) - CASA Sales OfficerJob Title: CASA Sales OfficerDepartment: Retail Banking / Liability SalesReporting To: Branch Manager / Area Sales ManagerJob SummaryThe CASA Sales Officer is responsible for acquiring new Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) customers, generating deposits, and driving business growth through customer acquisition and relationship management. The role involves field sales, lead generation, account activation, and cross-selling banking products to achieve assigned targets.Key ResponsibilitiesAcquire new Savings Accounts and Current Accounts from individuals, professionals, SMEs, and corporate customers.Generate leads through field visits, referrals, corporate tie-ups, market mapping, and local promotional activities.Conduct customer meetings and explain banking products and services.Ensure proper KYC documentation and account opening compliance as per bank guidelines.Activate newly opened accounts and drive customer engagement through digital banking channels, UPI, debit cards, and mobile banking.Cross-sell products such as Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Credit Cards, and Loans.Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase wallet share and retention.Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual CASA acquisition and revenue targets.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM systems.Coordinate with branch operations and service teams for seamless customer onboarding and issue resolution.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)CASA account acquisition numbersDeposit mobilization and account fundingAccount activation rateCross-sell revenue generationCustomer retention and relationship growthAchievement of monthly sales targetsCompliance and documentation accuracyRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.0-3 years of experience in banking sales, financial services, insurance, or direct sales.Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also apply.Knowledge of banking products and regulatory requirements is preferred.Required SkillsSales and negotiation skillsRelationship managementLead generation and prospectingCommunication and interpersonal skillsCustomer service orientationTarget-driven mindsetBasic computer and digital banking knowledgeTime management and problem-solving skills
