Key Responsibilities: -- Monitor and patrol the property to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, theft, or damage.- Control access to the premises by checking and verifying identification of visitors, staff, and vendors.- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies and take appropriate action.- Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and visitor records - typed on a mobile phone in English.- Ensure common areas, entrances, and exits remain secure at all times.- Assist with day-to-day property upkeep and attend to requests from residents/occupants as needed.- Report any maintenance or safety hazards observed during rounds.Physical Requirements: -- Height: Not below 5 ft 9 in.- Fitness: Must be able to run 1 km without stopping.- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.Required Qualifications & Skills: -- Prior experience as a security guard, security officer, or property attendant preferred.- Ability to read, write, and type basic reports on a mobile phone in English.- Alert, observant, and able to remain calm under pressure.- Good communication skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors.- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
