Are you a seasoned Chief Engineer with a knack for technical management of Bulk Carriers ?This is an exceptional chance to transition your valuable seagoing expertise into a challenging and rewarding shore-based role, overseeing the technical operations of a modern fleet of Bulk Carrier vessels. What We're Looking For:Chief Engineer (CoC): Must hold a valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency from either the Indian DG Shipping (CDC) or the UK MCA (CDC).Sea Experience: Minimum of 6 - 12 months + of sailing experience as Chief Engineer on Bulk Carrier Vessels.Shore Experience: At least 3 year to 8 years of proven shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent, specifically managing Bulk Carrier vessels.Bulk Carrier Expertise is KEY! You should have hands-on experience with:Cranes & Grabs: Operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Dry Docks: Planning, execution, and supervision of dry-docking projects.New Build Projects: Involvement in the supervision and technical aspects of new vessel constructions.Vessel Takeover: Experience in the technical aspects of taking over new or existing vessels. Roles and Responsibilities: QS Engineer 1. Preparing BOQs Civil, Finishing & Interior. 2. Preparation of Quantity Sheet as per Drawings. 3. Preparing Specifications to meet project requirement. 4. Should have knowledge in Rate Analysis. 5. Reporting & Coordinating with Management in related to assigned job. 6. Working on built up Area. 7. Performs duties and responsibilities as instructed by Project Manager. 8. Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements. 9. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, billing practices, and cost control. 10. Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel & billing software. 11. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. 12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 13. Detail-oriented and highly organized 14. Ability to work effectively in a team. BBS Engineer 1. Preparation & verifying the Bar Bending Schedule 2. Preparing BBS and Shop Drawings for the BBS. 3. Good experience and hand over AutoCAD 4. Good technical knowledge regarding all disciplines of drawings. 5. Calculating exact quantities of Concrete & Steel to eliminate wastage. 6. Checking Contractors Bill 7. Preparing Reconciliation Statement 8. Working out Reinforcements steel Quantities on the basis of Structural Drawings Key Skills: Quantity Surveying, BOQ Preparation, Bar Bending Schedule Estimation, Cost Estimation, Billing, Client Billing, Rate Analysis, MS Excel, AutoCAD, Tender Estimation, Quantity Estimation.
