As a Surveyor, you will play a critical role in measuring land and preparing detailed site plans. Your expertise will help ensure accuracy in construction and other projects.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Conduct Surveys:** Perform land surveys to determine boundaries and the topography of properties, utilizing tools like theodolites and GPS equipment.- **Analyze Survey Data:** Compile and interpret survey data to create maps and reports that inform clients about land features and project requirements.- **Prepare Site Plans:** Develop detailed site plans showing legal property boundaries, existing structures, and planned developments, ensuring compliance with local regulations.- **Collaborate with Engineers:** Work closely with engineers and architects to provide accurate measurements and spatial data for construction or renovation projects.- **Monitor Project Progress:** Regularly visit construction sites to monitor the adherence to survey specifications, making necessary adjustments as the project progresses.**Required Skills and Expectations:**Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in surveying, with a strong understanding of surveying techniques and equipment. An I.T.I. education is essential. Ideal candidates must demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to interpret complex data accurately. Effective communication skills are necessary to articulate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
