Role OverviewWe are looking for a seasoned Die Tooling professional to lead both Production Tooling and New Product Development (NPD) functions. Die Tooling - ProductionKey Responsibilities Lead overall management of production dies, moulds, and fixtures Implement and drive preventive maintenance (PM) systems for all tooling to minimize breakdowns Handle troubleshooting and root cause analysis of tooling issues Ensure timely repair, refurbishment, and modification of tools Maintain high uptime through effective breakdown management and quick response systems Monitor and improve tool life, efficiency, and productivity Ensure proper die maintenance documentation including maintenance logs, breakdown records, PM checklists, tool history cards, and modification recordsProcess & System Orientation Coordinate with vendors for tool repair, modification, and development Develop and strengthen in-house tool room capabilities Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery Ensure optimal balance between outsourced and in-house tooling activitiesB.
