Job Summary:The Field Engineer FTTH is responsible for the on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fiber optic network infrastructure at customer premises and within the field network. This role plays a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of FTTH services.Key Responsibilities:1. Installation & Commissioning Install fiber optic cables, ONTs (Optical Network Terminals), splitters, and other equipment at customer premises. Perform splicing and termination of fiber cables, ensuring low loss and proper signal flow. Conduct OTDR and power meter tests to verify and certify installation quality.2. Fault Diagnosis & Repair Identify and troubleshoot faults in the fiber network (both at the customer end and in the field).
