We are seeking an Assistant Land Surveyor to join our team in the Maldives. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience and hold an . qualification. This full-time position requires the candidate to work from our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Site Surveys: Assist in carrying out surveys to gather precise data about land features and boundaries, ensuring accuracy in measurements and documentation.
- Prepare Survey Plans: Help in creating detailed survey plans and reports to communicate findings and conclusions, using data collected from site visits.
- Utilize Survey Equipment: Operate and maintain various surveying instruments like theodolites, total stations, and GPS systems to ensure accurate readings.
- Collaborate with Senior Surveyors: Work closely with senior land surveyors to receive guidance and assistance on complex surveying projects, enhancing your skills and knowledge.
- Maintain Records: Organize and update project files and documents to ensure all surveying information is readily accessible and well-maintained.
Required Skills and Expectations:
The candidate should possess a solid understanding of surveying techniques and tools. Strong attention to detail is critical for accurate data collection and reporting. Effective communication skills are important for working with team members and clients. The ability to work well in a team environment is essential, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in land surveying. Being physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions is also necessary.
