- Supervise and manage civil engineering projects: The Deputy Manager Civil will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various civil engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.- Assist in planning and scheduling: They will work closely with the project manager to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, making sure that all aspects of the project are planned and executed effectively.- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors: The Deputy Manager Civil will be in charge of hiring and supervising contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that they deliver high-quality work in a timely manner.- Conduct quality control checks: They will be responsible for conducting regular quality control checks on construction sites, making sure that work meets industry standards and specifications.- Ensure compliance with regulations: The Deputy Manager Civil will need to stay up-to-date on all relevant laws, regulations, and building codes to ensure that projects are in compliance with all requirements.Skills and Expectations:- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.- At least 2-8 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management.- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively oversee and coordinate project teams.- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in civil engineering projects.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
