Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with automotive industry standards. Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality procedures. Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, and lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and CAPA methodologies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance product quality. Lead internal audits, supplier audits, process audits, and customer audits. Monitor quality KPIs such as PPM, COPQ, rejection rates, and customer satisfaction metrics. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues. Develop and mentor the quality team while promoting a culture of quality excellence. Manage supplier quality performance and support new product development (APQP/PPAP). Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific quality requirements.Skills Required Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plans. Hands-on experience in Automotive Components and Press Stamp/Sheet Metal Manufacturing. Expertise in quality tools such as 8D, 7 QC Tools, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CAPA. Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, measuring instruments, and inspection techniques. Experience in customer handling, supplier quality management, and audit management. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.Preferred Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline. Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lead Auditor (preferred).
