This Quality Assurance role is crucial for upholding product quality and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day QA department functions, implementing and upgrading quality management systems, approving materials and documentation, and ensuring in-process quality control. The role also involves reviewing batch records for product release, conducting self-inspections and CAPA, investigating deviations and customer complaints, performing annual product reviews, and coordinating stability testing. Furthermore, this position is responsible for staff training and driving continuous improvement in GMP practices.

Job Responsibilities : 1. To monitor and coordinate the day-to-day functioning of the Quality Assurance Department.2. To implement and upgrade quality management systems within the premises.3. To approve the vendors for raw and packing materials. 4. To prepare, review, authorize, issue and control various documents and Standard Operating Procedures and to approve all Specifications, Standard Test Procedures, Validation, Qualification protocols and reports.5. To review Batch Manufacturing Records and batch Packing Records and to give a release of Finished Products for distribution and sale.6. To conduct and coordinate regular Self Inspection programmes and compile the CAPA.7. Ensure that in-process quality control checks are performed and documented to ensure the quality of products at each and every level.8. To retain the samples of raw materials and finished products.9. Coordinate with Quality control for real-time and accelerated Stability testing of finished products.10. To handle, investigate and reply to the market complaints.11. To allocate job responsibilities to Quality Assurance and Quality Control department personnel.12. Coordinate, conduct and assess the regular in-house and external training for all employees 13. To investigate and close deviations, First investigation report [FIR] and non-confirmatory reports [NCR].14. To perform annual product reviews.15. To carry any other responsibility as given by seniors/management.16. To approve all the major, and minor changes in the established quality management system.17. To ensure the continuous improvement in GMP practice followed in each area.18. To impart timely training to personnel.
