This includes managing shifts and ensuring that the workforce is adequately trained.4.Production Planning: Industrial engineers develop production schedules and plans to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory costs and production lead times.5.Inventory Management: They help in managing raw materials and finished goods inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, which can lead to additional costs.6.Cost Reduction: Identifying cost-saving opportunities is a key responsibility.
