As an Operation Theatre Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures by ensuring the operating room is safe, sterile, and equipped with essential instruments and supplies. Your responsibilities will include:- **Preparing the Operating Room**: Ensure all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are available and arranged correctly before procedures begin.- **Assisting Surgeons**: Aid surgeons by handing them instruments, anticipating their needs, and ensuring a smooth workflow during operations.- **Maintaining Sterility**: Follow strict protocols to maintain a sterile environment, preventing infections and complications during surgeries.- **Monitoring Patients**: Keep an eye on patients' vital signs and comfort levels during procedures, alerting the surgical team of any changes.- **Post-Operation Care**: Help clean and restock the operating room after surgeries, ensuring it is ready for the next procedure.- **Equipment Management**: Handle sterilization and maintenance of surgical equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly.The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare, with education such as BDS, B.Pharma, B.Sc, MBBS, or an advanced diploma.
