Database Administration (DBA) Manage, monitor, and administer relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Perform routine health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning. Manage user roles, permissions, and database security policies.Operational Support Provide L2/L3 support for database-related incidents and service requests. Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and optimization. Participate in DR drills and data recovery procedures.Monitoring & Automation Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., OEM, SolarWinds, Prometheus) to proactively detect performance and availability issues. Develop and maintain automation scripts for repetitive DBA tasks (using Shell/PowerShell/PL-SQL etc.).Documentation & Reporting Maintain up-to-date documentation of database configurations, SOPs, maintenance plans, and access logs. Prepare database performance reports, audit summaries, and RCA for major issues.
