The ideal candidate should have 3 to 8 years of experience and possess a relevant diploma.Key Responsibilities:- Manage OT Operations: Ensure that all operations in the operating theater run smoothly and efficiently, adhering to safety and health regulations.- Supervise Staff: Lead and mentor a team of nurses and support staff, ensuring they follow best practices and protocols during surgical procedures.- Coordinate with Surgeons: Work closely with surgeons and medical teams to schedule surgeries and prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and instruments.- Monitor Equipment: Regularly check and maintain surgical equipment, ensuring they are functioning correctly and available when needed.- Ensure Compliance: Implement and monitor compliance with hospital policies and safety guidelines, conducting regular audits to uphold standards.- Training and Development: Organize training sessions for staff to enhance their skills and keep them updated on the latest surgical practices.- Handle Documentation: Maintain accurate records of surgeries, equipment usage, and inventory of supplies, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date.Required Skills and Expectations:The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
