Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repairs:o Perform routine and preventive maintenance on hot forging equipment, including presses, hoppers, and heating systems.o Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.o Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity. Equipment Optimization:o Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to improve efficiency and quality.o Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.o Implement modifications and upgrades to enhance equipment capabilities. Safety and Compliance:o Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.o Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.o Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on safety practices and equipment handling. Documentation and Reporting:o Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.o Prepare and submit reports on equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and incident investigations.o Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements. Continuous Improvement:o Participate in root cause analysis for recurring equipment issues.o Propose and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performance.o Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to hot forging.
