key responsibilities:

maintenance and repairs:

o perform routine and preventive maintenance on hot forging equipment, including presses, hoppers, and heating systems.

o diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.

o conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.

equipment optimization:

o monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to improve efficiency and quality.

o collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.

o implement modifications and upgrades to enhance equipment capabilities.

safety and compliance:

o ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

o conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.

o train and mentor junior maintenance staff on safety practices and equipment handling.

documentation and reporting:

o maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.

o prepare and submit reports on equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and incident investigations.

o analyze maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

continuous improvement:

o participate in root cause analysis for recurring equipment issues.

o propose and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

o stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to hot forging.
