Job Description:The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for manual testing of internal and vendor supplied software and systems, including those associated with smart phones and telecommunications products. Roles & Responsibilities: Write test plans from the requirements, specifications and test strategies Debugging and determining root cause Planning, authoring, debugging, and executing performance test Knowledge of Design, Execution and Reviews of Test cases and Test Scripts. Good knowledge of Manual Testing. Involved in GUI testing, Functional and Regression Testing, knowledge about Test Director. Manual testing (Website Testing) Mobile testing (i-Phone/Android, 2D & 3D Game / Web application testing) Writing report on test result and quality problems and analyses of the same. Reports results to the QA manager Raise an alert when an important issue is likely to put in jeopardy the whole project Requirements: Ability to do strong root cause analysis. Strong understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation, and testing methodologies. Use versioning systems to code test scripts. Create and perform test campaign whenever it is necessary to fit in the overall planning. Use bug tracking database to report bugs. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
